In this personal project I investigate the concept of the mother figure establishing myths and stereotypes of the mother and what the contemporary attitudes of motherhood are. As I photograph my own daughter, I explore what motherhood means to me and how my thoughts of being a "perfect" mother are only an idea that we are trained to believe in our ambitious society.
