For me, a big part of family is the roots that a family stems from. For my family project, I phtographed pictures from their childhood, in addition to the flags of the countries my family comes from.

my family is very soccer oriented. Although I no longer play, I remember spending a LOT of my time strapping on my shin gaurds amongst the yells of close family friends. This is a shot of my sister and her friend getting ready for soccer practice
My family is very busy. I see my family for dinner at night (before I then go do my homework) and for a few minutes in the morning for coffee. My parents taught me how to brew a perfect shot of espresso and to steam my milk JUST right to make a morning latte. There is more coffee in our veins than blood probably.
Photos done in response to "Family" photography assignment. Both were shot around my home. This shot is of Gregory King, my Father

This is a photo of my cousin Megan with her dog Blue - two important members of my family. Megan has Smith-Magenis Syndrome and animals are an important part of her life because they serve as a form of therapy for her, and I wanted to capture the joy she gets from being around Blue.
This is a photo of my cousin Megan, who is 13 years old and has Smith-Magenis Syndrome (a developmental disorder causing behavioral issues). Many people are unwilling to give Megan a chance because of her Syndrome, and I wanted to portray her in a postive light to allow others to get to know Megan as the kind, witty and spirited girl I am so fortunate to have a part of my family.
